Whats downsizing?
Downsizing is when the initial swelling of the new piercing goes down, you come back in and we change the length of the jewelry to something shorter for continued easy healing.

when to downsize?
Downsizing happens typically between 6-12 weeks. It is very different for every piercing, and every ones different anatomies so it varies from person to person. If you need to come in before typical timeframe we do have whats called a "check up appointment".

does all piercings need this?
Do all piercings need downsizing? Technically no. 90% of piercing do but earlobes for example dont need to be downsized unless they are getting snagged on clothes, towels etc. Basically ever other piercing will need to be unless its not causing any issues then we dont HAVE to.
